
RITGER, Walter, 68, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. He retired from Nabisco as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing and going to Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Mlynczak; and a brother, Kenneth Hechler. Left to cherish Walter's memory are his wife, Brenda; daughter, Kelly Hott (Danny); four grandchildren, Daniel (Megan), Mcrae, Jacob and Kristlin; three great-grandchildren, Briley, Oliver and Tripp; sisters-in-law, Pat Stewart (Wayne), Beverley Mueller (Andy); nephews, Tyler and Brandon; sisters, Ruth Snead (Larry)and Alma Mahone; nephews, Lawrence Snead (Patricia), Kevin (Rachel), Michael Mahone; and nieces, Bonnie Woods (Doug), Kathryn Lewis (Jeff), Rebecca Hibbard (Kevin) and Maria Weidner (Ronnie). He was a member of the Sandston Moose Lodge, a Master Mason and also a member of the Shrine Temple. Walter's family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon in Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
