Maxey, Wesley N., 80, of Dinwiddie, formerly of Henrico, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jennings and Mary Poe Maxey; and 11 siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Diane (C.S.) Watson, Debra (Frankie) Gupton, John (Vickie) Maxey, Jerry (Connie) Maxey and Sarah (David) DeCiucis; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild; and two sisters, Elizabeth Sullivan and Edith Burton. Wesley was a retired boilermaker from Local #45. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park.
