Bruce Carl Everett

Everett, Bruce (Barney)- Passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on March 30, 2026. He was 95 years old and was married to Norma Everett (Vance) for 76 years. Loved father of Shirley Wood, Dan (Brenda) Everett, Sue (Jim) Robb, Mark (Barb) Everett, Barb (Jack) Reinhardt. Grandpa to Jennifer Wood, Jason (Tracy) Wood, Krista (Steve) Gelanyi, Adam (Meghan) Everett, Kelly Deguire, Carl (Ruthann) Robb, Melanie (Steve) Stanley, Lindsay (Gregg) McGhee, Curtis (Alicia) Robb, Philip Everett, Aaron Everett, Bradley (Natalie) Reinhardt, Andrew (Rachael) Reinhardt and Chad (Danielle) Eden. Great Grandpa to Chaz, Josh (Glenna), Leah, Kory, Kyle, Isaac, Matthew, Paige, Seth, Dakota, Parker, Elijah, Violet, Charlotte, Evelyn, Elise, Lloyd, Meadow, Jacob, Eli, Micah, Wesley, Nathaniel, Isabella, Esmeralda, Blake, Bryce, Jackson, Addie, Evie, Quin, Peyton and Sawyer. Great, great Grandpa to Mason and Cameron. Beloved Brother of Earl (Maureen) Everett, Elaine Winger, Edith (John) Goulding. Brother-in-law of Louise Everett and Dale White. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Violet Everett, brothers Roy, Victor, Leslie, Edward and sisters Olive (Andy) Lightheart and Carol White, brother-in-law Wayne Winger, sister-in-law Eldora Everett, granddaughter Carrie Wood, grandson Joey Eden, and great-granddaughter Nora Stanley. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bruce retired from John Deere in Welland where he worked many years as an industrial electrician. He was a gifted man and could do almost anything, often helping family and friends by using his many talents. He was a builder, plumber, electrician, mechanic, metal fabricator and could fix almost anything. If he saw a need, he was there to help. He was one of ten children, born in Ridgeway Ontario where he lived his entire life. He built a beautiful home for his family and lived there his remaining years. He loved spending time with his family at the cottage fishing and playing cards.

Williams Funeral Services have been entrusted with arrangements. Family and friends are invited to Williams Funeral Service on April 7th at 11 am for a funeral service. Burial at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery to follow. If so desired, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada Niagara District in Bruce’s name.
