Craig A. Russ

Craig was born the son of Allen and Irene (Gildner) Russ in Detroit, Michigan on July 12, 1959. He graduated from Rochester High School in the class of 1977 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. Craig later earned his masters of science in business administration from CMU and masters of science in manufacturing operations from Kettering University. Craig married Dawn Stamper in November 1993 at St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. Craig and Dawn raised their family in Holly, Michigan.

Craig had a 29 year career with General Motors working at the General Motors Tech center in Warren for many of those years. He and his family lived in Europe as well for Craig’s work and together they traveled the world.

Craig loved his golden retriever Daisy and watching the Detroit Lions play football. He also loved to cook.

Craig is survived by his wife Dawn and son Sean Russ. Craig was predeceased by his parents Allen and Irene (Gildner) Russ.

Craig’s family will welcome all for a memorial gathering on Sunday July 7th, 2019 from 2-5 pm with a sharing of memories service at 4pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
