Uncle Danny and Aunt Joyce put up with me going straight down the ski hill with no turns.  Uncle Danny always made me feel special, as I'm sure he did everyone he met.  I have nothing but happy memories and will miss him at family reunions.  XX

Uncle Dan, I knew from the very first moment I met you that you were one very special man.  Your warm smile and your sweet voice will always be remembered.  Even the last time I saw you, you still made me feel so special and you were SO happy to see me.  I am going to miss you dearly and so will Joel.  Joel loved you so much.  He will never forget how you came to see him in the hospital when he was so sick and all of the love he felt from you.

Dan and Joyce were my Teacher9s)  on the Hobby of Bee keeping some many 35 years ago.. Dan's teaching and this Hobby have had the biggest impact on our lives than any other teacher for either Judy or myself.  We treasured knowing Dan  and asll he taught us on the hobby he loved. Dan and Joyce were amazing people  and helped many many people in this Hobby-of particular note were the many young ladies Dan toutered as Honey Queen candidates--his achievemant record on this is not published--but very  high and he loved this as much as his "honey bees"

Uncle Dan,
You helped teach me to ski, then later, you helped teach me to see, that to ski, wasn't the only thing in this life of sea. I really did stop crying ... and you know what I mean ... but that was back then. Today; not so easy.

I've lost count of the years we hooked up on the slopes. All my life, obviously. Mt. Grampian, Briar Hill, Stowe, Winter Park. You competed against and whipped up on the best, then later, took it out on the rest. Thank you, for allowing me to be in your nest.

I miss you buddy.

Oh, ... and that was a pretty big and nasty bump you crashed on, eh!!!?!!! Hard snow; icy packed.

Yeah, well, tough. I'm sorry. Damn snow snakes. So, too bad, "Get up and shake it off, ya big sissy!!!"
