David,
        I will always remember you as the student I was hard pressed to promote to high school because you were such a kind and self-motivated student. I wanted to keep you on in my class.  Mary Ann and Dave, you were the best of parents and raised a son that was a credit to his generation.  May you, his wife and children find strength in the Lord who so powerfully dwelt in David.  He will be greatly missed.

Condolences to all. As deeply as I feel the loss of Dave without ever having actually met him in person, I can't imagine what you guys must be going through. A truly decent and kind human being. Rest in peace, buddy.

David was a huge part of the Legion World website and online group LMB, those friendships forged on late 90s comic fan sites were so unique,genuine and true.. David will be missed terribly by all of us, and all my love to Jenn, Hannah and Jon.  you are all on my mind and in my prayers.

I'm glad that we who shared the same moniker became friends on Facebook. I'm sad that I will not be able to share things with you that I thought you would find of interest. They say only the good die young, and although I really did not know you, from everything I have read from the people that did, I'm not surprised that your God has called you home early. Rest in Peace, Big Man. I will miss you.

Dave was an essential part of my adolescence.  He believed in me, laughed with me, and loved me.  He saw the potential inside of me years before I did.  He showed me how to overcome, instead of surrendering to obstacles that were obstructing my path.  For all of his support and love, I will never be able to tell him how thankful I am.  To the family that raised him, thank you for raising such an incredible man, because of you, he made an impact in my life.  To his current family, I know how much Dave wanted a family.  Jen, you gave him that, you made his dreams come true.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you

My thoughts and prayers to each of you. I have such great memories of David from his days at OCC and was glad to reconnect through Facebook. I so enjoyed his postings and pictures of his family's adventures. He was a special, wonderful man.

We laughed, argued, commiserated, had fun, and acted like brothers.  Didn't have him in my life long enough, but he made an impact on me.  He was a good man, and I hope that the love he generated can sustain the family in their time of grief.

A kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him. Deepest condolences to David's family.

Dave was very loved by all his friends and family. Even those who never got to meet him in person have been touched by his loss. I am sad to see my friend go, but now his body and soul will be at peace.

i have enjoyed dave's posts on facebook for the past several years. and even though we never actually met in person,  i can say with absolute certainty that he was one of the warmest, funniest, smartest, and kindest dudes i have ever encountered, period. my deepest sympathy to dave's lovely wife and his beautiful children. i'm sure he will live on in all of their hearts.

U can do all things through Christ who stregthens you!
