Dean Lowell

LOWELL, Dean Wright, age 88, of Oakland Twp., passed away May 3, 2015 in Rochester Hills. Dean was born May 8, 1926 to Dean Wright Sr. and Alvah (nee Hall) Lowell in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII in the pacific theater on the USS Doyle C. Barnes. Survived by children, Linda (Ed) Dzuris, David (Gregory Phillips) Lowell, and James (Chris) Lowell; grandchildren, Lisa (Robert), Ian, Joseph, Janet, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Emily, and Lilly; brother of Robert and Herb (Pat) Lowell; also survived by the mother of his children, Helen Moseley. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife Mary. Memorial Gathering, May 7, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester.
