PARRISH, Joyce, age 83, of Oakland Twp., August 24, 2012. An Administrative Assistant for Oakland University, she retired in 1989 after 23 years of service and she andher husband were faithful members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Joyce was the beloved wife of Charles H. Parrish, whom she married September 27, 1952, and who preceded her in death on May 16, 2011. Dearest mother of Denise (Rock) McNeil of Rochester Hills and Jeffery (Lori) Parrish of Grand Blanc. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Mandy, Drew and Megan. Sister of Louise (Bill) West, Emily Freymiller, Edwin (Bonnie) Loving and Ann (Guy) Summerfield. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester with burial to follow in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation Monday 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
