Frank Richard Niedbalski, of Sterling Heights, passed away on February 28, 2019. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 21, 1955 but grew up in Rochester and attended Rochester High School. Frank was a prototype metal model maker for Elite Ind., Michigan Metal Craft and Experimetal Inc.
Frank was very passionate about many things. Sports was one of those. He loved all of them. He was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan and a Chicago Blackhawks fan. Frank loved the Pistons and was a diehard Tigers fan. Chet Lemon was his favorite, Old #34.
Frank's biggest passion though was music. He lived and loved the blues, from Elmore James to Joe Bonnamassa. Going to concerts and listening to some of the greatest guitar players in the world was a pastime for him. He was always playing his guitars, but only for himself. One of Frank's favorite songs was "Blue Skies" by the Allman Brothers Band. So when you are listening to some awesome guitar jam, think of Frank and smile.
Frank is survived by his brothers and sisters: Ed Niedbalski (Kim), Mary Ferrick, Barb Bernard (Ronnie), David Niedbalski (Peggy), George Niedbalski (Cynthia) and he is predeceased by his sister, Elaine Seaman (Robbie).
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
