Gerald “Jerry” Kenneth Kenyon, of Shelby Township, Michigan, made his transition to meet God in the most peaceful way imaginable on August 1, 2023. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 17, 1945 to Charles and Anna Kenyon. Jerry attended Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan. On January 16, 1971 he married his beloved wife Cynthia (nee Lelito) Kenyon. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam War and was a proud member of the Old Settlers VFW Post 4659 of Shelby Township, MI formerly Disco, MI. Jerry worked in production for Chrysler for many years before taking his well-deserved retirement. Jerry loved being outdoors, going hunting and fishing with his son Gerald at his cottage. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Kenyon; son Gerald Kenyon; and his sisters Alta (Lamar) Reeves and Beverly (Brian) Stratton.
He is predeceased by his father Charles Kenyon; mother Anna Kenyon; and brothers Norman Kenyon and Donald Kenyon.
