

Glendell Junior Rawlins, of Pontiac, MI, passed away June 9, 2015. He was born in Clifford, Michigan on November 24, 1933. Glen graduated from Pontiac Central high school and went on to Michigan State University. He married Josephine Gayle on September 3, 1955. Glen worked for Michigan National Bank and in 1999 for Golling Chrysler parts department. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had a passion for service in the stake missionary serving the Detroit area, Mormon concert choir, and was a soloist; he played the accordion, piano, and guitar. He is survived by his wife Josephine, children Teri Lynn (Ramon) Batista – Barajas, Wendy Kay (Jeff) Stebar, Shelli Ann (David) Mora, Rachel Marie (Jeff) Bingham, David Glen (Vonna) Rawlins, sister Juanita Ruth Verch, 21 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 14, 2015 from 2-8 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., MI 48307. Additional visitation Monday from 10am until the time of service at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1610 Brewster Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48306.
