Isadore John "Ted" Bomarito

Isadore John “Ted” Bomarito, age 87, of Rochester Hills, passed away on December 18, 2022. Ted was born on April 24, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and Hazel (nee Allister). He married Mary Sclafani on September 26, 1959. Ted was employed for 42 years working first at Buick Motor Division, then at the Chevrolet Gear & Axle Plant, which later became Hydramtic at 9 Mile Road and Mound in Warren. He was a past president & committee Man at UAW Local #909 in Warren. He had a passion for spending time with his grandchildren, as well as swimming and watching the Lions & Tigers play. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Mary; children John (Jennifer LaLonde), Joseph, James, Jerald, Jeffry, Jason, Juliann (David) Noonan, Jacalyn (Thomas) Hoffer, Jessica (Dwayne Hayes) Bomarito and Justin; 13 grandchildren Chelsea Kiesgen, Daniel Bomarito, Claire Bomarito, Ryan Noonan, Austin Noonan, Emma Noonan, Jacob Bomarito, Casandra Hoffer, Caroline Hoffer, Sophia Hoffer, Shaun Hoffer, Logan Hayes, Savannah Hayes. Also survived by his sister Delores Bilicki (Nee Bomarito) and sister-in-law(s) Toni Sclafani and Josephine Jones. Preceded in death by his brother Robert “Junior” and his sister Grace Puia (nee Bomarito). Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 26, 2022, 11 am at St. Mary of the Hills Catholic Church, 2675 John R. Road, Rochester Hills. Fr Stanley Ulman, celebrant.
