Jean LaNell Vincent, born on October 1, 1930, in Brilliant, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at the age of 95. Later in life she was a resident of Shelby Township, Michigan. Jean lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and community service.
Jean spent much of her life in Cardwell, Missouri, where she created countless memories and friendships. She married Charles L. Vincent on February 11, 1950, and together they built a family filled with love and joy. Jean is survived by her daughter, Theresa Jones (late husband Robert E. Jones), and her grandchildren: Jennifer (nee Jones) Lucksted (husband Alex), Charles C. Vincent, Julie (nee Jones) Biggio (husband Sean), Jonathan Vincent (wife Teresa), and Jake Jones (wife Samantha). Jean is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Briana Biggio, Aeden Biggio, Donavan Vincent, Aden Vincent, Nickolas Vincent, Jaxon Vincent, Ethan Vincent, and Ella Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles L. Vincent, her son Charles E. Vincent, and her grandson Antonio Vincent.
A dedicated nurse, Jean worked at a nursing home until the age of 70, providing care and comfort to those in need. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her career, as she was an enthusiastic volunteer for Meals On Wheels and an active member of the Shelby Township Senior Community.
Jean's personal interests included a deep love for dogs and a passion for dancing at Senior Citizen Balls.
Jean LaNell Vincent will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, humor, and dedication to her community will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
