Jenny Sue Hallgren

HALLGREN, Jenny Sue, 67, of Rochester Hills, joined the lord in his kingdom on January 12, 2017. She was born on April 3, 1949 in Eldridge, TN to the late Bryant and Adean (nee Waits) Dickey. Jenny graduated Wayne State University with a Master’s Degree. She was very active with the Lutheran Heritage Foundation, served as the president of the Michigan Fraternal Congress and was also a member of the Lutheran Ladies Missionary League. Loving wife of Richard Hallgren, his children, Rick (Joan) and Gayle (Ken) and their children, Erik, Jodi, Hannah, Mark and Cara; mother of Lori (Pete) Coleman, Scott (Andrea) Coleman and Tracey (Tracy) Meyerhoff; grandmother of Ryan, Brandon, Bailey, Brianna, Taylor, Gavin and Ava; sister of Don (Pat) Dickey and his son Don Dickey, Jr. Visitation 2 – 8 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W University Dr., in downtown Rochester. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 2975 Dutton Rd., Rochester Hills.
