Jerry lived much of his life in Northern California, primarily in the San Francisco area, before later residing in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Jerry was a devoted sports car enthusiast, and found great joy in automobiles and the community surrounding them. Even more central to his life was his love for Bible study and his commitment to prison ministry, through which he dedicated countless hours serving others and sharing his faith.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Maddox Jenkins, and his brother, John Jenkins.
He is survived by his son, Jerry (Amy) Jenkins Jr.; and his grandchildren, Charlie (Abby) Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, and Jenna Jenkins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m., at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, Michigan 48307.
