John Anell Anderson, 'Jack', a beloved resident of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 78. Born the son of Virgil and Mary (Smutz) Anderson, in Bay City, Michigan, on September 27, 1947, Jack led a life full of dedication and love.
Jack graduated from North Farmington High School as part of the class of 1965. He furthered his education by earning a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. After his studies, Jack joined the National Guard Reserves, demonstrating his commitment to service.
He pursued a career as a Certified Public Accountant, working with Abramson, Zumberg, and Beecher Accounting before establishing his own successful business. His professional journey was marked by integrity and expertise.
Jack's personal life was enriched by his marriages, first to Paula and later to Linda Loiacano. He and Linda raised their family in Rochester, Michigan. Jack is survived by his children, Gordon Anderson, Kristin Kentros, and Dennis Anderson. He was a proud grandfather to Zachary and Brandon Kentros. He also leaves behind his sister, Dee (Marty) Post, his nephew, Jeffrey (Blair O'Neil) Keiser, and his niece, Julie Keiser. Jack was predeceased by his parents; and wife Linda Anderson
A devoted family man, Jack loved spending time with his loved ones. He was a huge Michigan State Spartan fan and held season tickets to the Red Wings for many years, reflecting his passion for sports and his community.
Jack Anell Anderson will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his professional accomplishments, and his unwavering loyalty to his favorite teams. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday January 24, 2026 from 2pm until the time of the memorial service at 3pm at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, located at 100 Romeo Road in Rochester, Michigan. A reception will follow at the church.
