Laura was one awesome lady! Kind, caring and funny. Everytime I hung out with Ashlee she always had a smile and something funny to say. She will be a missed lady, but one that will live on forever! 

I will miss you so much, you were an absolutely amazing woman. Always willing to help anyone.  Always so loving and kind. Your hugs were always so strong and loving. Im still at a loss for words. Theres a special spot in my heart for you always and forever.

In our younger years, Laura and I went fishing together, we must have only been about 7-10 years old and I remember her putting a pumpkin seed on the lure and she caught a giant pike, I don’t know how she reeled that giant thing in herself but once she did, she jumped back terrified and just let it flop back into the water. She was the only one who caught anything that day. 
We were always getting ourselves into trouble with mom and dad, smoking behind the garage or the time she got ahold of dads pistol and shot the tv out (@13 years old). Things were simpler and better back then, if I could go back I would. As my heart is deeply saddened, I’m glad your no longer suffering & I know you’re with mama now. Laura, was such a sweetheart, she helped everyone.  She knew when to help without being ask. She was one of God's angels on earth. Now she's a Heavenly angle. My dear sister, 

Anywhere you went you always shined like glitter. Not only were you the baby sister but you were the wild child, the one who’d pull us out of our beds at the crack of dawn just to watch the sunrise together. Our “sister’s ” trip to the Bahamas was one I’ll never forget and I’m so thankful for that time we had together! You became an incredibly strong woman, one that didn’t let life slow you down; you were the image of perseverance and for that I am so proud. I love you, my most beautiful Angel!

Dear Ashlee,
I'm sorry to hear about your Mom.  She was too young.  I know you were the love of her life.  A lovely lady with a beautiful soul and big brown eyes.  I remember her taking you to fund raise after working all day, to raise money for your trip to Australia, she was so excited for you to go and proud to send you.  I ran into to her a few years back and she told me you and your boys were doing well and it made her happy.  I truly am sorry for your loss.  May freinds, family and happy memories comfort you at this time...

When I was young, the coolest thing I could imagine doing was going out for food & shopping with my great aunt Laura! Our favorite thing to do together was go to “Pepper-Mill Cafe”, she had me hooked on the Eggs Benedict there because they had the best hollandaise sauce! I loved her spontaneity and adventurous personality, I’ll never forget the trip to St. Ignace and making a bonfire on the beach with her & Ashlee. She found beauty in nature wherever she went and had such a love for waves crashing against the shore while watching the sunset & sunrise. She always had life advice even when you didn’t ask for it, ( I think I inherited that) lol. I’d often call her while she was headed to work or on her lunch break and she’d always end the call with “I love you so much baby!” ❤️

I’ll carry her love in my heart forever….

To know Laura was to know one thing for certain: Her love for her daughter and grandchildren was fierce and endless. This love was extended to her daughter's friend's whom she treated like her own. 

Thank you for always showing me kindness and for the tough love when we needed it. I will always remember your hugs; that never seemed to end, and that I didn't know I needed. Your light will live on in Ashlee and your grandkids.

I will miss your great hugs whenever we would see each other. You were such a big part of my life growing up. I will always remember all of your funny jokes and the adventures you would take Ashlee and me on, you took me on my first trip to Canada. Thank you for raising Ashlee to be the strong woman she is and the great friend that I have always loved. You will be greatly missed, fly high in heaven.
