Such a lovely service for a lovely person.  I worked with Linda at Cochlear and kept in touch over the years through her service to her community.  Linda had such a beautiful smile, kind heart and had so much pride and love for her her family. I used to joke with her about her always taking pictures, but grateful to see so many of her!   I will miss her friendship.  Sending my love and condolences to you all.  

So fortunate to have a weekend with Linda this past summer.  Linda came up early to our cabin hang out with me before the guys returned from their annual trip.  It was a rare occurrence to have time with just us girls.  Had a beautiful a day spent hiking Old Baldy and taking about life.  Linda lived life to the fullest and touched my life with her kindness.

Hess Family, 
I am so very sorry for your loss. Linda aka “Mrs. Hess” was such a wonderful person!! I always loved talking with her whenever Ryan would have the group over. Oftentimes, she would be in the kitchen chatting with us, asking us how we’d been and what we’d been up to. She had such a way of making you feel welcome and special, and I know I said to Ryan more than once, “Ryan, your mom is awesome!! She’s so nice!” Truly a special person. My heart goes out to you in this challenging time. 



I was very fortunate to meet Linda in 2019, she brought so much energy and knowledge to our group. She was always looking to help and advocate for others.  In 2019 we invited Lakeview School for the Deaf to tour the company and hear from employees’ experiences.  Linda presentation was great! During her intro she shared 3 facts about her, one of those was “I never give up on anything”. I know that is very true! During the 3 years we worked together she supported the employee resource group with so much passion, she created awareness and drove change for all. Thank you Linda! 

My sincerest condolences for Linda’s family. She was a high school classmate and one who stood out to me as a genuinely sweet person. May she rest in eternal peace and her memories live on. 

Hello Hess Family. I was Linda's DuPont marketing rep. This loss was a huge shock to me. I enjoyed all our interactions when she was at Ford. All our meetings seemed to start out with me sharing pictures of my grandchildren and she would counter with pics of her kids. Sometimes we actually managed to get some business objectives accomplished. She always had a "sticker" out for me - had to be careful on my counter attack because after all....she was THE CUSTOMER !! I've shared her passing with other members of the Dupont team that worked with her and her team at Ford. Our feelings are mutual. She was a total sweetie !! Taken from us way too soon. We'll miss her a bunch.  HB

Ah Hess family ... I am so sorry for your loss.  I had the pleasure of working with Linda at General Motors, Materials Engineering for a short time.  She was great to work with and a witty person. Linda was a valued member of Stellantis' DIVERSE*abilities Business Resource Group and led several events  focused on hearing loss education. We are deeply saddened and our thoughts are with her family.  We will meet at the Board level and discuss appropriate ways to honor her legacy and continue her efforts to educate our employees.  She will be truly missed.

Linda was an absolute gem. My daughter Olivia and I loved golfing with her and having great conversations over the past few years. She will be dearly missed. 

I will miss you dearly Aunt Linda. So many great memories in SGI and around the holidays. I will be sure to make the Aunt Linda cheese ball every holiday season as I did at thanksgiving this year.  Until we meet again - love you, Ryan, Annie, and Uncle John so much

I am so very sorry for your loss. Linda was an incredible loving woman that is with the Lord now but will be missed by so many of us. 

Linda was very kind and caring.  She loved her family and was very proud of her children.  She was mild mannered and loved everyone.  I will miss her and her kindness.

So sad to learn of this! While i didnt know her well, we enjoyed the Aqua class st Lifetime Fitness. She was always so sweet, as we shared greetings & fun in the water. She will be missed!

My condolences to the Hess family. I was in Linda’s book club until I moved out of state. I have fond memories of talking with her at the meetings and when running into her on walks around the neighborhood.  She was a genuinely nice and caring person. 

So sorry to hear of Linda’s passing. Many fond memories of her and our time at St. Philomena and Queen of Peace. Linda was first person to teach me how to swim, she introduced me to tennis, and to how to play guitar. She was generous and caring.

Linda was a compassionate and generous person.  She liked to be involved, and was a great contributor to planning everything from care packages for people going through rough times, company picnics, and HLAA fundraisers.  I knew I could always count on Linda to be there and help out. 

Deepest sympathy to her family,  and to all of the lives she touched. 

She will be greatly missed.

Linda was the friend who always showed up when you needed someone.  She was always taking care of people, her family, her friends, her co-workers.....She will be missed deeply.  I have been thinking about all the happy memories.  Going camping, getting our masters together at U of D, going to football games at U of M, Ryan's first birthday party where so many people showed to celebrate, concerts, so many memories.  

My Condolances to all the Hess and Galat families on the unexpected loss of Linda Galat Hess, a first Cousin.  
I remember her growing up as a beautiful caring child of my dear Uncle Edward and Aunt 'Jenny' Galat.
I have all fond memories of Linda; and I am especially grateful for the time we shared recently at my 80th birthday party and celebration.

I would run into Linda around Rochester Hills and I saw her at Lifetime fitness in an aqua class. I have known her for years when we were younger and our older brothers would play hockey together we would hang out and she was a year behind me at gallagher! Praying for her husband and children and for Pete! 🙏🏼💔 Gone too soon!
