Mary Lou Ehrmann Norkiewicz passed away on December 19, 2020 in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She was born on July 27, 1939, in Pontiac, Michigan to Joseph Henry Ehrmann and Florence Estella Ehrmann. She graduated from Avondale High School in 1957. Shortly thereafter she began working at Kulhman Corporation where she met the love of her life, Arthur Norkiewicz. Mary Lou and Art were married on August 3, 1963 and happily lived together for 57 years. She was the dear mother of 3, Lynette (Kevin) Howell, Gregory (Alicja) Norkiewicz and Steven (Michelle) Norkiewicz; and the proud grandmother of 6, Christopher (Dan), Nicholas (Brittany), Jake, Matt, Amanda and Michael. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was the loving sister to her late brother, Joseph. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, doing various crafts, bowling, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She retired from FANUC and volunteered in the gift shop at Crittenton Hospital and at the Older Person Commission.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 771 Old Perch Rd., Rochester Hills, Michigan. Interment at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
