Michelle was born the daughter of Jerry and Janice (Czanstke) Tryon on August 29, 1969, in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Stevenson High School, class of 1986. Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in business analytics from Oakland University. Michelle married Daniel Rhen in October of 1996 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion, Michigan. Michelle had a career in law. She completed her career as an IP Operations assistant. Michelle was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority.
Michelle loved people, she was a fierce friend, and everyone loved being around her. She loved everything about Disney World, visiting eleven times. Michelle enjoyed years of Michigan State football games with Dan. She looked forward to spending summers with her family at Sugar Beach in Traverse City. Michelle was smart and accomplished anything she set her mind to. Most of all she loved her family and her dog Obi.
Michelle is survived by her husband Dan; children Jacob (26) and Jackson (21) Rhen; mother Janice Tryon; brother Timothy (Kathryn) Tryon; and nieces Shannon Tryon, Alison Rhen and nephew Adam Rhen. Michelle was predeceased by her father Jerry Tryon.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 from 12-4pm at the Heathers Country Club, located at 900 Upper Scotsborough Way in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
