

Millie was born on July 25, 1930, in Gideon, Missouri, to Pinkney and Pansy Pillow. She carried throughout her life the warmth and charm of her small-town roots.
Millie was known for her wonderful sense of humor and her thoughtful spirit. She never missed an opportunity to wish someone a happy birthday and was faithful about sending cards to those she loved. An avid reader, she found great joy in books and lifelong learning. She was member of the Rochester Hills Baptist Church and a genuine Stone Baptist “Stoneite". Millie was gracious, loving, and deeply spiritual, touching the lives of many with her kindness and gentle presence.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Hicks; her children, Tom (Lesa) Scott, David (Gena) Scott, and Jennifer Buhr; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Kay) Scott, Amanda (Mark) Cantu, Tony (Ashley) Scott, Kelly Scott, Samantha (Jacob) Taylor, Gunnar (Sarah Brockschmidt) Buhr, Fred Lang, Stephan Jackson, Noah Jackson, Tanner DeForest, Shaylyn Deforest, Chance Deforest, and Paris Deforest; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Scott, and her son-in-law, Paul Buhr.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI, 48307.
