
Otto was a proud graduate of Lutheran West High School, Class of 1963. He continued his education at Detroit College of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Throughout his life, Otto valued hard work, education, and integrity.
He is survived by his loving sons, Ty Gabriel and Juan Carlos Gabriel. Ty is married to his wife, Alexia Gabriel. Otto was a devoted grandfather to Kayla Gabriel, Blake Gabriel, Mya Gabriel, and Aria Gabriel, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. Otto was known for his great sense of humor and his lifelong passion for sports. A college bowler, killer softball pitcher and a great set up bump man in volley ball. diehard fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, pistons and Eed Wings. He followed them faithfully through every season. Avid card player, self proclaimed dj back when they had the real to real.Above all else, Otto deeply loved his family and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. Otto once shared that his greatest goals and dreams in life were to have a beautiful,loving family. In every way that mattered, he accomplished that dream.
Services will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, Rochester, Michigan 48307.Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.Additional visitation for family will be held on Sunday, December 28, beginning at 2:00p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m.
Food and fellowship will follow the service.
