Robert was a man who truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and the people around him. He was dedicated to staying active and took great pride in his physical fitness. In his later years, he became a familiar and friendly face during his daily walks at Meijer, where he enjoyed being social and chatting with others. He also loved spending time at Ram’s Horn. He was there most every morning for breakfast and even had his own special table. He was loved and respected by the waitresses that worked there so he will be greatly missed.
Robert had a lifelong passion for cars. He enjoyed attending car shows with family, collecting cars, and sharing stories about racing on Woodward in his 1957 Chevy in his younger days. Some of his favorite memories were pheasant hunting with his father and brothers—traditions he cherished deeply. Above all, Robert’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family and friends, exchanging stories and enjoying life. He also held a special place in his heart for his beloved cat, Sweetie.
Robert dedicated over 42 years of his career as a master plumber at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, where his hard work, skill and commitment left a lasting mark.
