Robert Nels Olsen

OLSEN, Robert N., age 74, of Rochester Hills, died August 6, 2015. He was born January 26, 1942, in Detroit to the late Robert and Ruth (Hoehner) Olsen. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wabash College and his Master’s Degree from Wayne State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and retired from Comerica in 1998 after 35 years of service. He was a Senior Vice-President responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions in addition to Corporate Development. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. Beloved husband Helga Olsen for 49 years. Dear father of Kristin Wallace, Eric (Jennifer Finkel) Olsen and Philip (Katy) Olsen. Grandfather of Kariee, Sophie and Abby. Brother of Ann (David) Wood. Memorial Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester; the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Rather than flowers being sent, the family would greatly appreciate that memorial contributions in Bob’s name be directed to the Parkinson Foundation of Michigan and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
