

Robert L. Ruscoe, 89, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Goldie Ruscoe; his children, Deborah Moeller, Kimberly Ruscoe, Kerry Ruscoe, Dean Ruscoe and his wife Sandra Ruscoe, and his daughter-in-law Carol Ruscoe. Robert was preceded in death by his son Robert L. Ruscoe Jr. He is survived by his grandchildren, Melissa Koryabina and her husband Nikolay Koryabina, Elizabeth Findlay and her husband Brian Findlay, Michael Moeller and his fiancée Ashley Slaght, and Robert L. Ruscoe III; two great grandchildren, Holden and Harper Findlay; and many close family and friends across the United States and Ireland. Born and raised in Stamford Connecticut, the son of Fred and Anne (O’Donnell) Ruscoe. In 1942, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard, where he was a Seaman, First Class and was a Veteran of World War II. He was an avid wood worker at the Rochester OPC and has left behind many heirloom pieces his family and friends will treasure for years to come. Robert was a retiree of Ford Motor Company, attended Five Points Community Church in Auburn Hills. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W University Dr, Rochester, MI. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Five Points Church, 3411 E. Walton Blvd, Auburn Hills. He will lay in state from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place following services at Mt. Avon Cemetery, Rochester.
