

He was born in Harlan, Kentucky on May 10, 1941. He graduated from Ross High School in 1959 and served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He then went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Washtenaw Community College. Roy worked in the Heating and Cooling industry. He was a proud veteran and member of the Pipe Fitters Union.
He married his wife Geraldine Faye Bray on March 28. 1981 and they were together until her passing in 2020. Roy loved sports cars, motorcycles, working in his garden, baseball, hosting pool parties, and attending his Grandson’s sporting events. His stress-free lifestyle, storytelling talents, classic quotes and unconditional love for his family will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his children Bill Bray (Cory), Kelly Calehuff, Sherry Long (Joe), Jeannie Blanke (Joel), Jamie Bray (Jen), Phil Martin (Dana); grandchildren Seth Calehuff, Beth Calehuff, Celeste Holland, Mitchell Martin, Luke Martin, Ren Blanke, Ava Blanke, Mitchell Bray, Kristina Bray, Chad Long, Ashley Long; and sister Patricia Maxey.
He is predeceased by his daughter Denise Calehuff (Deceased).
Memorial service will be hosted at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22nd.
