

Stephen C. Pannozzo, age 86, of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Stephen was born in Danbury, Connecticut to Helen and Stephen J. Pannozzo on July 13, 1938. In his younger years Stephen attended Danbury High School before continuing his education at Tech School where he learned skills in Tool and Dye. He put these skills to use at Branson Ultrasonics, Heli-Coil, and Baylof. Stephen honorably served his country as an Engine Man Fireman in the Navy for 6 years in Hawaii. Cars were a passion of his, he treasured classic vehicles and in the 1960s even owned a few race cars which he enjoyed driving. He loved all types of sports: football, baseball, basketball; but, his favorites were golf and bowling. He was even a member of the Stratford Bowling League and the Stratford Manor Golf League and enjoyed both the games and the friendships he made. Some of his favorite moments were spent with family playing cards or cribbage. His family and friends will miss his presence in their lives but know that he will never truly leave their hearts.
He is survived by his children Cynthia (Bruce) MacNicol, Mary Catherine (the late Nelles) Ford, Teresa Waters, and Lisa (Joseph) DiTrapani; grandchildren Melissa (Howard), Kristie (Vincent), Summer (Lauren), Joey, Ellie (Adam), Cheryl, and Callum; great grandchildren Makoa, Makana, Lily, and Wolf; and pets Oliver, Rocky, and Bentley.
He rejoins his beloved wife Mary Pannozzo in heaven.
