My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Steve. I have very fond memories growing up with Ann, and Steve was always so gracious and generous. Peace to all.

We are with the family in spirit at the funeral today.  We will miss Steve!

Uncle Steve always got the music going at the family gatherings when he would pull out his accordion.  Singing, dancing and laughter would soon follow.  May the family have comfort knowing he has now joined Jesus and the love of his life, Aunt Vivian. Love and prayers to the family. My sincere condolences.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time. My father, Don Daveluy, worked with Steve in the asphalt paving business for many years and our families enjoyed spending time together many years ago. Don just passed away a few months ago and Steve and Darlene attended the funeral. May his family carry on his legacy and be consoled by their wonderful memories.

Thinking back over the many years, your commitment to the community and charity.  Remembering when my late husband Chief Mark Belkoff and you stopped the horrible field fire from destroying entire subdivisions....so many memories!  To Marc and family and Ann Marie and family , thinking of you and wishing you peace!  I remember  so well your beloved mother Vivian, a remarkable and kind person. Eternal and blessed memory to them both!

I have known Steve since I was seventeen years old, we had a deep connection within the Russian community and amongst the Russian Orthodox Church!  Thank you and God reward you for building the Orthodox Monastery of St. Sabbas, for your charity to the maintenance of Holy Shrines in Jerusalem and your support of the Christin communities that were near and dear to your heart!  Blessed rest from your hard work, we will miss you!  To Darlene gratitude for your love and care for Steve over the past ten years!

It's never easy losing someone you have become close to. I met Steve ten years ago and have developed a very close relationship with him over the past few years. We both shared a common interest for Construction. In the summer of 2015, I  began working as an equipment operator in his gravel pit. My dad had joined me a few weeks later. Both my father and I worked together for several years and Steve knew it was only right to keep us working together. Working here helped me further develop my skills and would lead me to chasing my dream of becoming a member in the Operating Engineers Local 324 Union. Steve was not only someone I worked for, but a dear friend. He introduced me to the accordion three years ago and always told me,  How can you be Italian if you don't play the accordion? I made a promise to you to continue practicing and that's a promise I will keep. I hope one day to write a song in your memory. I thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for you. We didn't always agree on things, but I guess that's what happens when Russians and Italians are together. You were a great friend and made a tremendous impact on my life. I wouldn't trade the time we spent together for anything. I'm going to miss our long talks together about construction and the accordion. I'm not saying goodbye because I know we will see each other again. I'm sure you're in heaven running asphalt crews and looking for ground to mine. I still can hear you say, We got a lot of work to do.

Steve was my Great Uncle. I will always remember him as a man who always had time to speak with me whenever we saw each other. I will remember the family get togethers at his home when I was growing up. He is still to this day the only man a knew personally who could play the accordion.

Not many people live that many years yet, enjoy them. Steve seemed to never do anything half hearted. It is always good to learn something from a person that has lived, that's a great contribution.I will always be appreciative for his drive and empathy.

Dear Family:
It is with great sorrow to learn of Steve's passing. From the early days of our growing community of Oak Pointe Estates, we enjoyed many good times at his home and ours thru the years. We hope the family finds comfort in knowing he is safe and free from pain in HIS arms.

I am very blessed do have met Steve , what strength he had, the strength in his handshake , and how he could throw a baseball at his age ,nothing stopped him from doing what he loved , working hard and a good vodka ,last of the real men that have  left this world for a better place ,GOD BLESS
