Steven James Devitt, age 48, of Oakland Twp., Thursday, April 9, 2015. Born January 16, 1967 at St. Joseph Hospital, Pontiac. Graduate of Rochester Schools, attended Oakland Community College and Oakland University. Beloved son of Calvin Devitt and the late Lenna Vay. Steven was the loving and dedicated caregiver of his mother for many years. Loving brother of Amy Devitt of Muskegon and Laura (Anthony) Moggio of Rochester. Steven was a loving uncle of Amanda McNerney and Allie Buchner of Muskegon, and William and Violet Moggio. Also survived by his aunts Verna (Roger) Meyers of Carsonville and Beryl (the late Stanley) Devitt of Peck, and several cousins. Steven loved books and was a voracious reader, especially of religion and history. He was a member of Paint Creek United Methodist Church. There will be no public services.
