

She was born in Pontiac, Michigan, and graduated from Rochester High School. Susan dedicated over 30 years of service as an X-ray assistant at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital, where she was known for her compassion and professionalism.
Susan had a passion for sewing and loved creating beautiful quilts for her loved ones. She also enjoyed visiting the casino to play the slot machines, spending time with her sister in Port Huron, and cherishing moments with her family—especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her former husband, Steve Hooper; her daughter, Cynthia DeAngelis; her granddaughter, Kiylee DeAngelis (Alex Missinne); her grandson, Evan DeAngelis; and her great-granddaughter, Chloe. She also leaves behind her siblings, Joan (Bill) Stanlake, Steven (Michelle) Harrington, Mark Harrington, Melvin (Maureen) Harrington, and Eric Harrington. Susan was preceded in death by her brothers, John Harrington, Chuck Harrington, and Marty Harrington.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, Michigan, 48307. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 22, at 11:00 AM, at Pixley Funeral Home, followed by interment at Christian Memorial Gardens West.
