Theresa Daines

Theresa Phares Daines, 52 of Lincoln Park, Michigan passed away at her home on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Theresa was born in Detroit on November 5, 1972, and was raised in Detroit, Houston, Denver, Florida, California, Pittsburgh and had more recently made her home in Nashville, Tennessee before returning to the Detroit area. Theresa is survived by her sons, Alexander Daines (24), Matthew Daines (22) and David Davis (16) and her mother, Susan Casey Wright (Mark) of Bon Aqua, Tennessee. She was blessed with an identical twin sister, Marie Phares (Allen Culp), who resides in Florida along with her dear sister, Kellie Heasley. Her other beloved siblings include Elaine Phares (Robyn Ball) of Jay, Maine and younger brother, Joseph Phares (Wendy) of Wyandotte, Michigan.

Theresa cherished her niece and nephews—Geoffrey Lancaster, Vesper Culp, Olivia, and Vincent Phares—as well as her extended family, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. All of them will deeply miss Theresa's infectious sense of humor and her compassionate nature.

Theresa's greatest joy in life was celebrating her children and witnessing their growth into adulthood. She took immense pride in each of them—remarkable young men who excel academically and possess a wonderful sense of humor, intelligence, creativity, independence, and compassion.

Funeral arrangements will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 University Dr, Rochester. A visitation is open from 5-6 pm with a remembrance service immediately following in the Pixley Chapel.
