February 29, 1940 - March 4, 2015
A Son and a brother,
A husband and a lover.
He was a father of three,
then Grand became he.
A Veteran, an Airman.
Our country he did serve.
Of highest honors
He does deserve.
A line mate to many,
"Commish" of the OPC
Coach and role model,
Mentor was he.
A poet and Joker
He laughed and smiled.
He carried his humor
Even in his last mile.
An awesome man
who gazed upon the stars.
Forever in our hearts
He'll never be far.
Survived by Gail, wife of 50 years; children, Stephen and Lois, Christine and Fredrick, Rebecca and Bob; grandchildren, Timothy and Robbie.
