Victor F. Ticconi, 68 of Troy, Michigan, beloved son of the late Gino and Dominica Ticconi, passed away after a heroic 6 year battle with cancer on April 25th, 2018. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 24th 1949.
Victor was married to the love of his life and best friend, Teresa Ticconi for 28 years. Between the two, they had 5 children, 10 grandchildren.
Victor had a variety of passions. He loved hunting and fishing, which he enjoyed with his boys. He loved to cook and he even made his own pasta’s and sauce from scratch. He also loved spending time growing vegetables in his garden, the fruits of his labor he lovingly shared with many family members and friends.
Victor was the proud father of: Anthony (Shannon), Dominica, Matthew (Kyle), Jason Panek and M. Scott Cherry (Nichole) and loving grandfather of: Anthony, Kylie, Payton, Ethan, Sam, Gaige, Allison, Lauren, Gavin and Matthew. He was joyfully awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandson Xander (Kylie). He was also survived by his Brother, Robert (Glenda) Ticconi. Victor was preceeded in death by his daughter, Dominica. He will also be missed dearly by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester. Fr. Jack Baker officiating. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4 to 7 pm.
