

BELLAS, William, “Rubber Duck”, age 80, went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2016. William, and his wife of 48 years Nancy, lived in Davison. He formerly lived in Rochester, and had graduated from Rochester High School in 1955. William served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in both Alaska and Texas. A skilled tradesman, he retired from General Motors in 1996 following 35 years of service. William loved his 1930 Model A car and had received numerous awards at car shows. In addition to his wife Nancy, William is survived by two children Jeff (Gail) Bellas of Goodrich, and Tammy (Dave) Fettigre of Roscommon. Also survived by two grandchildren, Joseph Bellas and Evelyn Arender. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Clara and Edith Elwell of Rochester, and a foster brother, William Roth of California. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester. Interment to follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimers Association.
