Jeanna was an avid animal lover and lifelong supporter of the Girl Scouts of America. She spent the majority of her life caring for and supporting those around her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Schroeder; parents, Walter and Marjorie Komorowski; parents-in-law, Kermit & Elizabeth Schroeder; and sister-in-law, Pam Shillieto.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Dan) Irwin; sister, Kathy (Andy) Embury, nieces and nephews, Kase (Kayla) and Kristi Shillieto, James (Samantha) and Jessica Bierbrauer.
Calling Hours will be held at Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home, 2125 Chili Ave, Rochester, New York 14624, on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Coldwater Rd., Gates.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Girl Scouts of Western New York.
