She was unexpectedly pre-deceased by her parents, her brother Agustín, and her first born son Paul. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Oliver Bailey; her daughter Elena, her sons Eddie (Anne), Andy (Carmen), and daughter-in-law Daphne; her grandchildren Paul Jr., Sharon, Marc, Kirsten, Ryan, Candice, Matthew, Andrew, Allen and Ciara; and her great-grandchildren Crystal, Drake, Kaylee and Cato Paul.
Juanita lived a life of service to others whether as a teacher, a volunteer with several organizations or as a member of committees at the various churches she attended throughout her 87 years of life. She strived to make sure her grandchildren were aware of her love for them. As a mother she was zealous and caring, intent on providing a life better than hers. She was a loyal and devoted wife through the end.
We thank our neighbor Jean Livingston, Dr. N. Martinez, Dr. M. Bruns, Dr. H. McRae, and the RRH Home Care and Lifespan teams for their care and guidance.
Her funeral service will be held at Hope Lutheran Church 1301 Vintage Ln Rochester, NY 14626 at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 30th followed by burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
