Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at age 42 after a courageous and inspiring battle with non-smokers lung cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew Cattron, her two adoring little boys, Carter and Evan; father and mother, Ronald and Patricia Julian; sisters, Valorie (Mark) Hernandez, Lorraine Julian; maternal grandmother, Constance Laudadio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Karen Cattron; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Brooke Cattron; nieces and nephews, Alexis, Julian and Marko Hernandez, Zachary, Jacob and Mark Cattron; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Renee was an elementary school teacher for the Rochester City School District and a former reporter for WXXI television and R-News. She was a devoted teacher, a talented writer, and a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
