Peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, C. Edward Forrest, Jr. and her sisters, Wanda Ford and Anne Riley. Ronnie is survived by her daughters, Theresa Forrest (Michele Nero), Denise Forrest, and Kathleen Peters (Rick McCaffrey); 3 grandchildren, Shawn, Gary Jr. (Crystal), and Amanda Peters; 2 great-grandchildren, Ja’Zierre and Nevaeh; and of course, Pepper. Being from Lithuania, Ronnie lived the American dream. She was a long-time member of the Mista Council Degree of Pocahontas – Improved Order of Red Men and UCT. Ronnie enjoyed life, her family, and friends – we will miss her dearly. Her family would like to thank the 2300 unit and Respiratory at Unity Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion for Ronnie.
Friends may call Friday, 2-4, 7-9pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, 11am at St. Pius the Tenth Church. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzhiemer’s Association.
