She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph J. Doyle in 1997.
She is survived by her children: Kathy (Ray) Wager, Karen (Chuck) Lindsay, Barbara (John) Gunther, Joanne (Tim) Smith, and Maureen Doyle; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Nicole) Wager, Colleen (Daniel) Fellows, Brian (Annie) Lindsay, Jonathan Gunther, Laurie (Scott) Peslak, Stephen Gunther, Ryan Smith, Michael Smith, and Christopher Smith; and great-grandchildren: Sean Fellows, Hannah Lindsay, Lizzie Peslak, Jason Fellows, Audrey Lindsay and Bennett Wager.
Virginia enjoyed gardening and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, September 27th, from 4PM-7PM at the Funeral Home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave., Gates. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Thursday, September 28th, in St. Helen’s Church, 310 Hinchey Rd, Gates. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or the Gates Volunteer Ambulance Service, Inc.
