

Arlene attended Hiller elementary and Redstone middle School and Graduated from Brownsville High School in 1965.
Arlene trained in Home Health Aide services and received a Certificate for Specialized Training in Home Health in November 1983 thru Homemaker of Beaver County; Inc. Arlene utilized her training to take care of the elderly and adolescents for over 40 years. She was a dedicated hard working and compassionate employee. She had a fulfilling and robust career.
Arlene Collins accepted Christ at young age, and she believed in showcasing her faith by exemplifying “Romans 12:9-13”- "Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality."
Arlene was proceeded in death by her parents James and Hettie Ashford, Her siblings James Ashford Jr. Harry Ashford, Ronald Ashford, Rosemary Ashford, Fred Ashford.
She leaves behind two daughters Daynel Collins, and Lynnette Collins-Loyd (Linwood) and one precious grandson Diamonte Anderson. Her beloved siblings Karl Ashford, Phyllis Nunn (Wheeler), William Ashford (Jake), Malcolm Ashford (Monica), Carolyn Ashford, and Alicia Ashford and host of nieces, and nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
A visitation for Arlene will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home & Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 273 Rt 68, Rochester, Pennsylvania 15074, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Arlene will be laid to rest in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074.
