Barbara Lee Sheets Kennedy

Barbara Lee (Sheets) Kennedy, 67, of Chippewa Twp. passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Brighton, a daughter of the late Darrell Sheets and Rose (Vorderbrueggen) Sheets.

She is the beloved wife of Gary Kennedy. She is the loving mother of Kenneth Kennedy, Scott Kennedy, Roxanne Larson and her husband John, Suzanne Jewell and her husband Charles and Kathleen Kennedy. Grandmother of John Larson and his fiancée Katie McMullen, James Larson, Joshua Larson, Rachel Larson, Sarah (Jewell) Madden and her husband Mike, Charles Jewell, Mikaylah Jewell, D’Marien Jewell, Anika Kennedy and Blair Kennedy. Great Grandmother of Leon Kennedy-Mauk. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters; Glenda Gearhart and her husband Richard, Beverly Galupi, Cris Sheets and his wife Cathy, Darrell Sheets and his wife Sharon, Richard Sheets, Rebecca Smedley and her husband James and Emily Lapping and her husband Larry.

Friends will be received Friday from 6-8pm and Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. , 273 Rt. 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 am in Christ the Divine Teacher R.C. Church, with interment to follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Inc.
