Dolores “Dolly” Glagolis, born Dolores Smuch, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at the age of 90. She was born on April 28, 1935.
She was married to John Glagolis until his passing in 2008. During their life together, they lived in many places across the United States and in Japan while John served in the United States Air Force, but they always returned home to Baden, Pennsylvania.
Dolly is survived by her daughters, Sherry Brelloch and Deborah Katekovich, who lovingly cared for her. She was a proud grandmother to Jennifer Katekovich, Dennis Brelloch (Jamie), and Nikki Jeffers (Craig), and a very proud great grandmother to Adrian, Grant, and Piper.
Dolly worked for many years as a waitress at the VFW in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. She never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel instantly comfortable. She loved shopping, especially at Boscov’s, traveling, going out to eat, and spending time with her girls.
Dolly will be remembered for her warmth, her easy conversation, and the love she had for her family.
John 3:16 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
