Estella M. Brothers

Estella M. Brothers, 85, of Chippewa Township, passed on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Heritage Valley Health, Beaver. She was born January 4, 1928 in Richland Township, Clarion County, PA, daughter of the late George and Ruby (Frazier) Rupert.

In her younger years, Estella was a cook at Diddio’s Restaurant, Rochester. Her pastimes included crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and enjoying the outdoors when camping.

In addition to her parents, Estella was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Brothers on March 25, 2002; and two brothers: William and Raymond Rupert.

She is survived by two sons, a daughter and a daughter-in-law: Robert Brothers and his companion Dale Armen, Greenville, PA; Donald and Susan Brothers, Rochester; Ruby Brothers and her companion Sandy Wright, Beaver Falls; five grandchildren: Jennifer and Angela Brothers, Rochester; Scott (Mandy) Brothers, Rochester; Andrew (Stephanie) Brothers, Ellabell, GA; Michelle (David) Brooks, Virginia Beach, VA; seven great grandchildren: Robert, Tyler, Jacob, Bridget, Taylor, Kaylee and Ethan; Marion Dyson, who she loved as a sister-in-law; as well as nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Estella’s funeral will be held 11 a.m., Monday in the funeral home. Private interment will be in the John F. Kennedy Garden of Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
