

Ethel Eleanor Kinsey Bush, 95, of Otterbein North Shore, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH, formerly of Beaver Falls, PA, passed away, Saturday, April 11, 2015. Eleanor was born on July 23, 1919, in Cameron, WV to the late Allen and Cecil Kinsey.
Eleanor attended Marshal College, WV where she earned a teaching certificate and taught school several years in Tippecanoe and Holloway OH before marrying William A. Bush in May 23, 1942. Working at Armstrong Cork in Beaver Falls, PA World War II Eleanor made large casings for artillery shells which included her in an elite group of women represented by “Rosie the Riveter.” After starting a family she was a Special Education teacher in Fallston, PA and New Horizon School in Beaver PA until she retired in 1986. She earned her BS degree in teaching from Geneva College in 1968.
Eleanor was a member of to College Hill Methodist Church where she was an active member in the Omicron class. She was also a member of the Garden Club, Retired Business & Professional Women Club, Geneva College Women, and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Eleanor loved to play the piano for her own enjoyment and for the organizations in which she belonged.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William A. Bush in July of 1983, son John A. Bush in December of 2010, sister, Freda Kinsey Fletcher and 4 brothers Paul, Ronald, A. Richard and Bob Kinsey.
Surviving are her two daughters Carol (George) Neely, Murfreesboro, TN and Linda (Andy) Migas, Port Clinton, OH, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum) with her funeral service immediately following the visitation. Eleanor will be laid to rest in the Garden of the Last Supper, Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
