Eva Mae Spearing, 86, of Monaca, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 14, 2013. She was born March 23, 1927, daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Wyant) Mack. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eva was an active member of the Edgecomb Tenant Association, Monaca. She enjoyed putting together picture puzzles, solving word searches, arts and crafts and watching her favorite Soap Operas. Eva was a member of Freedom Pine Run Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband: Donald E. Spearing, May 31, 1972; and her daughter Judith Diane Spearing, March 22, 1997.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law: Nancy and Rev. Burl Ward, Ruffs Dale, PA; Debbie Bailey, Beaver; three grandchildren: Stephen (Terri) Ward, Ruffs Dale; Richard Bailey, Robinson Township; Danette (Benjamin) Palmer, Rochester; five great grandchildren: Stephen, Tanner, and Robin Ward; Saxon and Alayna Palmer; her sister: Shirley Black, Richmond, VA; and nephew: Jeff Black, Richmond.
Friends will be received Friday, August 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home, 2 p.m., Saturday, The Rev. David Moore, officiating. Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
