Gloria J Smith

Gloria Jean Smith, 66, of Patterson, formerly of Ambridge, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Heritage Valley Hospital, Sewickley Campus. Gloria was born July 2, 1944 in Corinth, Mississippi, daughter of the late Charles Snell and the late Letra Harris. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Gloria was in step with the grandchildren and always up with the latest computer video games. She also loved drawing and painting. Her family was her greatest love; and she always thought of others before thinking of herself. She had been employed in the Unit Pick Department at GNC Warehouse. Gloria was a Baptist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: William E. Smith, Sr.; her son: William E. Smith, Jr.; and two brothers: David Snell and Steve Hasek.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Raymond and Sheila Smith, Hopewell; Mickael and Hristina Smith, Patterson Township; two daughters and a son-in-law: Faith Smith, Milton, WV; Francis and Kenny Tenney, Baden; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; one brother: John Hasek, Beaver Falls.

In honor of her wishes, cremation arrangements were by SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. A private inurnment service will follow with Pastor Todd Davis, officiating. Online condolences may be offered at www.saul-gabauer.com
