Harold A Sproul Jr.

Harold A. Sproul Jr., age 79, of New Brighton, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Heather Hills Hospice in New Port Richey, Florida. Born July 17, 1945, in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Catharine S. (Boyer) Sproul Sr. Harold worked many years for Bell Telephone, before operating his own business, Interstate Communications, located in Beaver. He was a very active member of Pathway Church in Chippewa Township, a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Harold was an avid train enthusiast, train excursion rides, and collecting model trains. For the last few years, Harold and his wife Sharon spent their winters in Hudson, Florida at Word of Life RV Park where they have made many friends.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon 'Sherry' (Phillips) Sproul, two sons; Gregory (Shelly) and John (Sharon) Sproul, two stepsons; Dean (Holly) and Doug (Risa) Welling, five grandchildren; Brandon, Justin, Emma, Logan and Trevor, one sister, Wanda Geery, one brother David (Cheryl) Sproul, and his beloved dog; Finn, cat, Dude, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Betty Cusick and three brothers in law; Dean Foster, Dale Cusick and Ed Geery.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4-7pm and Tuesday, April 15, from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am at Pathway Church, 239 Braun Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
