Helen N. (Chapman) Simpson, age 84, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at AHN, Wexford. Born April 27, 1941, in Chippewa, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Joy) Chapman. She loved taking care of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed fishing and loved cutting grass on her John Deere tractor. She loved cooking Sunday dinners, and having all of the family gathered there.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dennis W. Simpson, a son, Dennis A. Simpson, four daughters; Barb Simpson, Debbie (David) Maurice, Jane (Herb) Sharpless and Ruth (Martin) Davis, three grandchildren; Matt (April) Sharpless, Daniel (Alyssa) Palmer and Katelyn (Brock Crawford) Sharpless, two great grandchildren; Leo and Henry Palmer, and one sister, Edith Swogger.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers; Daniel, David, Richard and William Chapman, and three sisters; Hazel Baker, Jean Lintz and Margie Davenport.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 2pm until the time of funeral services at 4pm at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Route 68, Rochester, PA 15074. Burial will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
