It's been a year but the hurt continues.  I'm sure you are looking down on Tammy, Makayla & Mitchell and are so proud of they're stamina and perseverence.  Through their grief, they have continued to move forward with you always in their heart.  Mak has only one more semester before being a Pitt grad & Mitch has been accepted @ 3 colleges.  It is unbelievable how much love and support have been given to your family and it's all because of the life you lived and the kids you and Tammy raised in a Christian home. 
We love you and will always miss you.

Bob or “Go-Bob” as properly nicknamed, was one of the most upbeat, jovial classmates there ever was. There was no bigger Lion fan. Every memory I have of him makes me smile.

Very difficult day today for it was on this day at 5:09 Pm on Christmas Day 2021 that we said good bye to our son in law..Bobby.  Bobby’s wife, our daughterTammy, is hurting, more that any of us can seem to help. Since Bobby passed on Christmas Day, it makes it so much harder to try and keep a happy face for the little ones and the rest of the family. We know Bobby is in a better place and if God wills it, with His grace and our faith, we look forward to seeing  Bobby again. 

Even though Bob was my brother-in-law, he was my “big brother.” He started dating my sister when I was four years old. I don’t remember a time before “ Bob dog” was in my life. He always treated me as his sister; down to making fun of me. He used to make fun my braces calling me Amtrack or Conrail. So many times we’d hang out at Clarion, sleepovers at their house, New Years parties, and holiday celebrations. He was always there to help no matter what you needed. I remember getting stranded on a rope climb at an amusement park when I was about 7 years old, and Bob had to come rescue me and carry me down. I don’t think he was happy to do it, but his little sis was stuck so he had to come save me. We’ll miss you Bobby! We’ll see you on the other side! ❤️

Linda Eiler  I am Bob's mother-in-law but it was always just "MOM" There have been so many memories that people have shared.  The one I remember most is how he always enjoyed the kids. First Tam's little sister, Robin, who he would entertain on our way back from Clarion when we dropped  "big sis" off at college and he would sing songs with her to take her mind off leaving Sis there. Will never forget Little Bunny FuFu. Then when our grandchildren came along, they would tap Uncle Bob on the  shoulder so he would turn around and do his Donald Duck imitation.  Bob took good care of our daughter for 27 years and I thank him for that but it wasn't supposed to be this way. They were supposed to grow old together. Love and miss you MOM


“Go-Bob” was a year ahead of me in school. I always saw him smiling and laughing; the kind of guy that just enjoyed life and whatever company he was in.

My fondest memory of Go-Bob was during the football pep rallies. As a member of the team, we sat in chairs on the gym floor, surrounded by the student body sitting on the bleachers. It got loud and crazy, especially the year we won the section and made the playoffs. Bob always caught my eye as he would scream his head off! He’d get so excited his face would get red and his throat soar!

Now Bob is still cheering. He is a part of the Great Cloud of Witnesses encouraging us all to keep the faith and live a life of love.

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My prayers are with Tammy, Makayla, and Mitchell. Bob was one of a kind. He wore his big heart on his sleeve. I will always remember the days of playing softball with him and many others from the church. Such good memories. What a faithful servant he was. May God hold the family in peace during these difficult days ahead. Many prayers lifted in his name. 

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Bob's passing.  I had the pleasure of working with Bob for the two-years I was at Valvoline's Pittsburgh packaging plant.

Bob was personable, meticulous and strived for excellence.  I enjoyed our working relationship but most importantly, I enjoyed Bob as a person.  He was kind, considerate, had a good sense of humor and loved Penn State.  

One of my fondest memories was coming back to the plant after the UK - Penn State football game in 1999 (Penn State won, unfortunately) and finding my office decorated in Penn State victory messages.

My deepest condolences and prayers for strength, peace and perseverance go out to Tammy, Makayla, Mitchell and all of Bob's family and many friends for their loss. 

Dave and I are heartbroken for Tammy, Makayla, Mitchell and family for their great loss. We will always remember Bob as a hardworking member of the Unionville Church family as well as a loving husband, dad, and son. 

Bobdog, my heart feels as if it’s in a million pieces. Growing up I could not wait to get to the next family birthday, holiday event or get together….because you were there always ready to play with me. Always making me smile and always making me laugh. You were the “coolest”….letting Robin and I ride in the back of your blue sports car, hitting a whiffle ball farther than anyone I’d ever seen, and doing the best Donald Duck voice EVER. 
As I got older and started a family of my own, my family came to think you were the coolest too. 
Jarrod so enjoyed all the sports talks with you and my two girls just adored you loving the Donald Duck voice just as much as I had. 
Thank you for being such a bright light to our family. I cannot wait to see you again. I love you BobDog.

This is tough. The last time I was with Bob was at our house for
Thanksgiving. Bob had a unique gift of digging right in carving  the turkey and even cleaning up after dinner . He would always make  a point of finding the heart and gizzard of the turkey and serve it to me in a bowl. He couldn’t understand how I could like them but he always served them up saying here it is pap. I shall miss his kidding me. Bob was a hard worker…be it work at his job, church committees, or just around the house. He was always helping his neighbors blowing snow out of their driveways. His greatest enjoyment was attending events and supporting his daughter Makayla or coaching son Mitch in baseball. His love for our daughter/ his wife  Tammy was immeasurable. I shall miss you Bobby…looking forward to seeing you again .

I met Tammy and Bob and kids when I started going to unionville church,he was an great husband to Tammy and a very great dad to Makayla,and Mitchell,IAM so very heart 💔 broken for them, thinking of you guys always,and for the next two days that will be hard,Bob did an awesome job,at fish fries and on church comitee s,I will miss Bob he was an very nice guy, from Jennifer Smith ❤️

I  don't know  Robert personally,  however that doesn't stop my heart form breaking for this family.     Robert is my  Piedmont work family.   I appreciate his  dedication and work  he has done for all of  us here at Piedmont.  May he  rest in peace

Dear Tammy...and all the wonderful family you and Bobby share! Memories of the life we shared at Unionville Church are rich and full. We are sad beyond words at Bobby's passing. I am so so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great guy and will be so missed by so many.  Prayers for comfort and peace.

Bob was such a wonderful husband to Tammy and a great father to his children, Makayla and Mitch. He was always involved and supportive in any and all activities with his family. My fondest memory is his time spent with my daughter, Lindsay, when she was a little girl. She affectionately called him by his nickname, “BobDog”. He played with her as if she was his own. Bob will be missed by those of us left on earth but he will be playing baseball with his friends in heaven.  Miss you and love you.

We are all heartbroken.  You had the biggest heart and you shared your gifts with everyone.  A faithful role model for husbands, fathers and fellow Christians.  It was an honor to walk the Christian journey with you here on earth…and you will be missed by many.  We are all blessed by memories of serving alongside you at church and take comfort in knowing we will see you again one day!  Welll Done faithful servant.  

I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I graduated with him and have fond memories of our time together in high school. My deepest sympathies for your loss.
