Betty Lou Triplett, 85, of Loves Park, IL, passed away on December 5, 2021. Betty was born in Litchfield, Illinois on September 15, 1936 to William and Matilda Logsdon. After graduating from Litchfield High School in 1954, Betty went on to work for Wholesale Veterinary Supply. In 1967 Betty married the love of her life, Willard Triplett. Betty enjoyed bird watching, especially Cardinals and Eagles, as well she enjoyed bingo, slots and thrift shopping but there was nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandkids.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Tamaraa (Tom Bacon) Turner, Lisa Fontana, Colleen (Dave) Mathews, and Roberta Triplett ; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Charles Logsdon and Doris Traeger; best friend, Geri Sparhawk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Triplett; parents; four siblings.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 2pm at Advantage Funeral Home (7000 W. State, Rockford, IL 61102).
